🫏The Silver Lode Scramble made history today! Runners and their burro companions raced through our historic town, starting and finishing right here in front of the museum. This event was more than just a race, it was a celebration of the loyal, hardworking burros who helped shape Grant County and all of New Mexico. These steadfast companions carried heavy loads for hunters and miners through rugged terrain and were instrumental in building the Silver City we call home today. A huge thank you to
